New race director does a great job.
Bobby Ward has made a debut as a race director twice so far in 2009. He's really catching on to the race-director roll. Thanks to all of our volunteers, including Sandy Montgomery and Bobby's Liberty runners.
This year's race had a fast field, perhaps due to the unseasonably warm weather and the opportunity to have the first run of the year in shorts! Nevertheless, speed doesn't win this race; rather, running (without the assistance of your watch) closest to your predicted time does. This year Susanne McCown won first place!
