RRCA 10-mile Club Team Challenge, 24 February 2008.
WRRC Results from the Team Ten Mile Run.
Below are listed the results from the largest WRRC team ever taken to Columbia and some folks who are our members but who ran with other teams, since those teams probably tried to dilute the power of the mighty team that Scott Kohr had assembled.
Led by Sherry Stick the female team finished fourth of ten, while the male team finished eighth of nine, and the co-ed team finished eighth of ten (while the Prince Georges team did not have enough males to qualify for a men's team, they did have enough females to qualify and enough total to qualify for a co-ed team). The team size this year was in the middle of the pack, and the WRRC was the only team whose first finisher was a female!!
Aided by numbers, ability, and a short drive, the Howard County Striders won the male, female, and co-ed team awards.
