Krebs,
Pool Capture Top Places at RRCA Team Championship, 20 February 2005 With the inspired leadership of Scott Kohr, who even brought food for the noble warriors, the WRRC managed enough runners to qualify in both the male and female categories. In the female category Jill Krebs finished in FIRST PLACE with a time of 59:50, not only the best of the female division but the best time by a WRRC runner. We salute Jill. Capturing SECOND place with a time of 61:57 was Diana Pool. Her time was the second best by a WRRC runner. We salute Diana too. The female part of our team finished fifth, the male part eighth, and the total team eighth. All the team awards, including "the world's ugliest travelling trophy" (their words, not mine) went to the Howard Country Striders. The overall winner was Izudin Mehmedovic of Howard County with a time of 53:24. All of our entrants ran that time too. Unfortunately they did not run ten miles in that time.
