All grant money has been approved for the sewer upgrade to North Main Street and Honeysuckle Lane. More information in the coming months.Great cooperation from town residents during the Firemans parade with parking and cleaning up the town. Thank you.
Summer is a time for the children to be out of school, please watch out for them. Please ask your children to respect property owner and vehicle drivers rights. Try to help take care of the ball fields and play equipment at the Community Center.

Mark your calendars now for the 10th Annual Fall Fest - September 15th. This year it will again be held at Lehigh Park. Stage entertainment, childrens games, food, crafts and AUCTION will be part of the festivities. Tours of the new cement plant will be offered. This will be a great opportunity for you to see whats really going on with all that equipment. So plan on seeing the facilities up close and personal.If you would like to volunteer a few hours of your time, please contact Kathy Kreimer at 410-775-7400. Craft spaces are still available. Registrations are still being accepted for fall soccer.
A free goalkeepers clinic will be held on July 14 for 7-14 year olds. Call Colleen Williar at 410-751-2070 for more information on soccer programs.
Summer Basketball camps are also being offered for 1st- 8th grade boys and girls. Cost for 1st 4th graders is $40.00 and 5th 8th grade boys and girls is $50.00 for a one week camp. For more information, call Ed Williar at 410-751-2070.

JOIN THE ADVENTURE
Are you ready for fun, hiking, camping, skits, archery and much, much more????? Then you will want to join Boy Scouting. Boy Scouts dont just read about exciting adventures or just watch them on television. They actually do them and they make great new friendships built on strong stuff like teamwork, learning together, and having fun. To join in the adventures of scouting all you have to do is call 410-756-2613 and you too can become a Boy Scout. Leader and adult help are always needed. Any adult member is welcome to register as an adult leader and help your son make the most of his scouting experience.
The Maryland Department of Agriculture will be spraying for mosquitoes every other Wednesday evening, starting June 6, 2001. The spraying will occur between dusk and 10:30 p.m. If you wish to minimize exposure, bring in laundry, and close
windows. Remember dates and times that spraying will be done. Spraying will be done when the air temperature is between 56 and 85 F. and the wind speed is 12 mph or less with no precipitation.
