The theme for the retreat is "Justice For All". Schedule of events is on the flyer.

Join your friends from the Catoctin Association at Camp Hashawha for a weekend of fun and Christian fellowship as we journey through a refugee experience. The movie being shown on Friday night is titled "The Lost Boys of Sudan". Visit these websites for more information.

Jen Smyers of Church World Service will be our guest speaker. The cost of the retreat is $35 after completing the UCC Scholarship form for $25.   Please complete all three necessary forms for each youth and send your registration forms and checks made out to The Catoctin Association to:

Larry & Sedonia Martin
3240 Charmil Drive
Manchester, MD  21102

Each church is responsible for providing a chaperone for their youth to stay the entire weekend.   Chaperones are not eligible for the UCC scholarship.  Their cost is $60 per person.

Please let us know if you and your youth are planning to attend the Tents of Hope event in D.C. as we must coordinate transportation.  At this time we are trying to arrange box lunches for those traveling to D.C. to be provided by Hashawha.    D.C. travelers will be responsible for the cost of their own metro pass.

We need a final count by Friday, October 31 and checks and forms by November 5.

Please do not hesitate to contact Carol Hallman or Larry and Sedonia Martin with any questions/concerns you may have.   We hope you encourage your youth to attend and look forward to a successful retreat.
