This book moves through four basic Sections: Primeval History (Ch. 1:1-11:26), Abraham (11:27-25:18), Isaac and Jacob (25:19-36:43), and Joseph (37:1-50:26). Covered in the book of Genesis are some of the most basic points of our faith: One God, Creation and Ruler of the Universe, that God created man in His own image and likeness, The first sin of man, God's first promise to save mankind, and Israel's history led by the Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph.
