This Commission consists of seven members, including the Council liaison, Peter Helt.
The Commission is charged with the following duties:
- Investigate and make recommendations concerning traffic control and traffic calming measures.
- Review and provide advice on street, road, sidewalk and gutter maintenance.
- Undertake such other studies, programs and recommendations as may be appropriate or requested from time to time by the Town Council.
Recommendations are taken to the Town Council for approval as appropriate.
The Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7:30 at the Mt Airy Senior Center until Town Hall renovations are complete.

For broken street lights, please send an e-mail with the following information:
- Pole Number (Found on the silver disk on the pole)
- Location/Street Address
- Problem (Light doesn't come on, pole broken, etc)
Information will be passed on to Allegheny Power. Allegheny Power normally takes 7-10 working days to fix reported street lights.
