The Economic Development Commission (EDC) of Mt. Airy meets the 4Th Wednesday of each month. Our starting time is 7:00 P.M. While construction continues on Town Hall, our meetings are held in the lower level of the Volunteer Fire Hall.
The EDC was established in 2003 under Ordinance No. 2003-9. The EDC's main objective, as stated in this document, is to: ...." assist the elected Town leadership in adopting policies to ensure responsible economic growth within the Town."
All residents are encouraged to submit any suggestions or concerns to the EDC via paper or electronic mail to the Town Hall, or in person at any regular EDC meeting.
