The Mayor is hosting monthly community forums, inviting citizens to visit and discuss items they are concerned about. Sometimes citizens ask specific questions, brainstorm, raise new ideas or simply discuss current issues.

The town council is always invited and many members often attend.

At a community forum, unlike a town council meeting, it's the citizens who generally set the agenda. They can ask questions, engage in discussion with officials, and suggest new ideas that in a normal council meeting may be difficult to do.

Normally the community forums are held on the 2nd Thursdays of every month from 7PM to 9PM in the large meeting room of the Library.

The first community forum was held on Thursday, June 8, 2006 and the second was on Thursday, July 13, 2006.
