Monday, September 17th
Newspaper Research Using the Internet - Widely known genealogist Julia Coldren-Walker will be our speaker as we begin our 27th year. Ms Coldren-Walker is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and a frequent presenter at conferences. Her specialties are Revolutionary War and DAR application problems, DAR library resources and research on the Internet. 7:30 p.m. in the Dixon Room, Westminster Library.  
Monday, October 15th
The Settlers of New Windsor and the Year-old New Windsor Museum - Speaker Mary McIndoe maintains a website entitled "Carroll County, Maryland Genealogy and History." Her areas of expertise include Quaker records, the technology aspects of genealogy and New Windsor's history. 7:30 p.m. in the Dixon Room, Westminster Library.  
Monday, November 19th
Striking It Rich with Civil War Records at the National Archives - Speaker Charles Scott is editor of the Baltimore County Historical Society Register . He has also published articles based on the fascinating historical and genealogical material he discovered while researching two Civil War ancestors at the National Archives. 7:30 p.m. in the Dixon Room, Westminster Library.

12 Sons Named George: the Naming Conventions of Our Ancestors - Speaker Nancy Waters Lauer is a genealogical researcher, author, instructor and lecturer. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. 7:30 p.m. in the Dixon Room, Westminster Library.  
Sunday, April 20th
Cemetery Copying at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Upperco - 1:00 p.m. Church is located on Rte. 30 at Dover Road south of Hampstead. All materials will be provided including light refreshments. In case of inclement weather, call (410)848-3752 before noon.  
Monday, April 21st
Telling Treasures from Beneath the Earth - Speaker Stephen Israel, an archaeologist, will discuss prehistoric settlement patterns and subsistence systems of Native Americans. 7:30 p.m. in the Dixon Room, Westminster Library.
