The High King
Arawn Death-Lord has captured the sword. If he can unsheathe it,
then he can make the weapon serve evil. Taran, Assistant Pig
Keeper, and Prince Gwydion have everything to fear. Even so, they
raise an army and march against the evil ones, hoping they are not too
late.
The High King, the fifth and last story of Lloyd Alexander's
Pyrdain's Chronicles, received the Newbery Award in 1969.
