School Group Field Trips You don’t need to travel far to let your students experience arts and culture in a state-of-the-art facility. Let the staff of the Carroll County Arts Council help design a field trip to enhance your curriculum and create a meaningful and exciting learning experience!
Program Options: $2 per student rate is available only during regular business hours. Please contact the Arts Center for rates and availabilities during other times.
Film Screening $2 per student Everything’s more visually exciting on the big screen! Bring your pre-selected dvd or vhs tape and we’ll show it in our 263-seat theatre. Our technicians will provide you with a microphone to lead post-film discussions. A great activity to complement literature, history, science or geography studies. (Maximum 250 students)
Gallery Tour $2 per student You’ll be lead on an age-appropriate tour (approx. 25 minutes) of the current exhibit in our Tevis Gallery featuring some of the region’s most acclaimed visual artists. Learn about the different styles, techniques and media used and how art is used to communicate. For an additional $2 per student, we can add a short art education film or a hands-on arts and crafts activity. (Maximum 35 students)
Adult Chaperones are all free (Chaperones need to be included in per person snack pack cost)
Snacks Pre prepared snacks with a set price per student can also be arranged for your group. Please inquire about snack item prices. If you choose not to have a pre-paid snack pack for your students please remember that there is no outside food allowed in the theater.
Prices for live stage performances are available upon request. There is a minimum charge of $100 on all theater or movie field trips
