Africa: Four Views Community Gallery October 4-November 17 Artists’ Reception: October 4, 5:30-7:30 Drawings by Bart Walter and Photography by Lynn, Katie, & Becky Walter Bart Walter and his family travel to Africa almost every year. This exhibit offers a unique juxtaposition of Bart’s charcoal drawings of African wildlife and the photography of his wife, Lynn, and two daughters, Katie and Becky. The photography of this family trio takes the viewer eye to eye with elephants, tender moments with a mother lion and her young cubs, baby warthogs taking their first wobbly steps. Their photography is rich with detail and natural expressions. These amazing intimate artworks along with artifacts from their journeys will transport visitors to Africa without ever having to leave home. |
